Vision for Recreation, Trails, and Green Space

HELP US PREPARE A VISION FOR RECREATION, TRAILS AND GREEN SPACE FOR THE MUNICPALITY OF BRIGHTON

The Municipality of Brighton, is preparing a Vision for Recreation, Trails and Green Space. The plan will serve to guide future planning for indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and programs, and the development and management of parks, trails, and other green space that is owned or managed by the Municipality.

We are interested in your household's current use of parks, trails, recreation facilities and programs, your interest in how to improve access to recreation services, and opinions on the need for future facilities and services.

The 2010 Civic Awards will be held on April 10th at the King Edward Park Community Centre.  Nomination forms are available at the 35 Alice Street Municipal Office and by clicking the links below.  Deadline for nominations is noon on March 1st, 2010.  Tickets are now available.

Do you know about CARE CONNECT?

CARE CONNECT is a provincial patient registry.  To access this directory, call TeleHealth at 1-800-445-1822 to register.  Have your health card ready.  You will be contacted by a CARE CONNECT staff member who will place you on a prioritized list and connect you with the closest doctor to your place of residence who is taking new patients.
