Finance Department Contacts and Services
The Finance Department is located in
the Municipal Building at 35 Alice Street. This department is
responsible for the management and control of billing, as well as the
collection of taxation for the municipal departments, boards and
agencies.
The treasury functions of this department include the compilation and
presentation of the annual operating and capital budgets in conjunction
with Council, the Chief Administrative Officer and Directors. Duties
also include reporting the year-end financial information, Municipal
Performance Measurement Program reporting, and providing advice on
fiscal, financial and accounting matters to Council.
